Al Gore's film, An Inconvenient Truth, attributes various
catastrophes to global warming - including Hurricane Katrina, rising sea
levels, lake evaporation, coral reef mortality, and polar bear drowning.
A UK judge ruled the film
presents each of these topics in a
questionable manner. This "is not simply a science film," said the
judge, but "a political film" made by a "talented
politician" who is on a "crusade".
